The developer behind one of London’s biggest luxury property projects has nearly halved the number of affordable homes it plans to build on the site.
The £9bn revamp of Battersea Power Station has slashed the number of affordable flats to just 386, this is 250 less than in the original plans. This is outrageous and brings the proportion of affordable housing on this £9 billion project down to just 9%.
Sign our petition below to demand that Wandsworth's Tory council reviews this decision and makes sure the developer delivers the full number of affordable homes.
This petition will be presented by Labour councillor Aydin Dikerdem at the Wandsworth council meeting on Wednesday, July 12.
