Film night - 'The Spirit of '45'
Ken Loach's documentary is a powerful testimony to socialist values in action, with particular reference to women's involvement. This will be a relaxed evening with wine, soft drinks and nibbles, and a Q&A with special guests who've worked in the NHS. Please feel free to bring your own drink, but we'll have some here too!
7pm on Wednesday 25th October at 36 Groveside Court, 4 Lombard Road, London SW11 3RQ
Space is limited, so if you are able to come please contact Lynne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Trip to see Labour of Love in the west end
James Graham's new play is a comic portrait of the bumpy relationship between an ambitious MP and his idealistic agent - and also traces the history of the Labour Party over the last quarter of a century.
We are organising a Battersea Labour trip to go and see the play on Thursday 16th November. It promises to be a fantastic evening, and we've got a great ticket price of just £12 (balcony seats).
We've got a limited number of tickets so get touch soon to reserve yourself a space! Contact Amy at email@example.com or on 07847387267.
By popular demand, Battersea based band, Junction Jazz, is back to perform another great night of jazz classics. Tickets are £10 in advance, £12 on the door and all proceeds go towards fighting the 2018 council elections!
Sunday 3rd December, 7.30pm at the Bread and Roses pub. Click here to buy tickers.
